Getting Started with Collections
Collections help you organize and manage your links in a smart, efficient way. Think of them as digital folders that let you save, categorize, and share your favorite websites, articles, and resources.
What are Collections?
Collections are groups of related links that you can:
- Organize by topic, project, or purpose
- Share publicly or with your team
- Customize with themes and descriptions
- Access from anywhere with our browser extension
Quick Start Guide
Step 1: Create Your First Collection
- Navigate to Collections in your sidebar
- Click the "New Collection" button
- Enter a name (e.g., "Web Development Resources")
- Add a description to help you remember what it's for
- Choose your privacy setting:
- Private: Only you can see it
- Shared: Team members can access it
- Public: Anyone with the link can view it
Step 2: Add Links to Your Collection
There are several ways to add links:
From the Web Interface:
- Open your collection
- Click "Add Link"
- Paste the URL and add a title/description
- Click Save
Using the Browser Extension:
- Install our Chrome extension
- While browsing, click the extension icon
- Select your collection and save instantly
Bulk Import:
- Use the "Import" feature
- Upload a CSV file or paste multiple URLs
- We'll automatically fetch titles and descriptions
Step 3: Organize Your Links
- Drag and drop to reorder links
- Add tags for better filtering
- Use descriptions to remember why you saved each link
- Sort by date, title, or custom order
